Building the test panocamera
Here we are…


the assembly works, perfectly fits the fisheye adapter over the camera lens.
The articulated fitting over the piece-and-love inox base is a little bit loose. Too complicated to work as it is.
The inox base is part of a foolish project I was taking around with Agnos in PanoTools meeting in switzerland… and that is still alive.
For a final, solid head, the project is still going on.

  1. That’s a sweet looking setup! How exact is the shutter release between the three cameras?

  2. Very impressive!! I have just mailed with Jan Martin at DIY-Streetview.org. We talked about the difference between a 2-camera and a 3-camera setup. Have to ask. How big is the resolution of your standard photos? I noticed that you use the Nikon FC-E8(?) Is there any way your setup can be used for other cameras?
